He wrote that the stone wanted to follow the prophet Muhammad s.a.w. ascending to the heavens. The picture is unbelievable!" What do you think? Is the legend true? Is the phenomenon real? Or is it a clever Photoshop fake... or an optical illusion? If anyone has any more information about this rock or photo, let us know. About the floating rock, that is real and what the sender told you is true that the rock wanted to follow the Prophet Muhammad. This phenomenon happened on the night of ascent of Prophet Muhammad. The rock helped him climbed on the horse he rode to visit the Heavens that’s why it floated a little high. Objects/things are not bound by scientific laws. When objects/things are controlled by Allah, it would move or be in any way Allah wants it to be.
Yes,but that is not the rock that want to follow Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). Ther original rock is actually inside the Dome of rock in Baitulmuqqadis. The structure (The dome of rock)was built around and under.
I hope this is not a photoshop fake because then whoever sent it would have caused a lot of unnecessary ridicule.
Anyway, what I have heard also is that actual floating rock is inside the dome, not outside as shown in this picture.
I wonder where this picture was actually taken. It is also curious that there seems to be some drops of blood on the lower left of this boulder.
I dont know which is the true floating rock, the rock inside the dome or the one in the picture. I would like to see more multiple angle of the floting rock in the picture

this is why earth is tilted at an axis….and it controls part of gravity….if it is blown up or moved earths gravity would shift …bo one knows how much….also earth will then rotate the oppisite of what direction it is rolling now……
i believe that because of the renovation they r doin right now it will move and all the things above will happen…..

That’s amazing, if thats true. When I was a kid, My mother used to tell me stories about this rock. but i thought that was only a legend… I think we need to be more curious about this kinda stuff. Don’t u think things being hiden from public?
I believe in this floating rock and Allah. Oh and I also have some ocean front property in Arizona that’s for sell. And lets not forget my S.U.V. that gets 186 miles per gallon, also for sale…

Jerusalem is considered the third holiest city in Islam. Mecca is the first, and then Medina. (Yeah, I’ve been reading about this since it is Ramadhan). Just take a look at this picture below, and now everybody understand why. This rock is believed wanted to follow our Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. to the Jannah during Isra’ and Mi’raj (or rather just Mi’raj).

This is just one of the many reasons why Jerusalem is important, along with Masjidil Al-Aqsa, The Dome of Rock and many more. Unfortunately it is also considered a holy city by the other two religions, Christianity and Judaism.

Come on, guys, don’t be dumb. I believe in God, and miracles and such, but if there was a perpetually floating rock, would it really be just stuck on some grubby hillside next to the street? Out where the birds can crap on it? If this were real, it would be one of the most holy sites/objects to the Muslim faith, so of course there’d be a mosque built around it.

The question is this:
Is this a real photo or a fake?
I’ll have to guess that it’s a forgery simply because of what Uccisore stated.
Religious relics are not left out in the open where thieves and delinquents can get to them.
One other thing…
I saved the image and zoomed way in. The front of that car seems to have been airbrushed out. Now, look on the right where that white ledge is (possibly the base of a statue?). The ledge disappears and does not continue behind the rock.
Also, in front of the rock, in the sand, the pattern of the sand and pebbles do not line up as if it was pasted there from another picture in order to mask the rock touching the ground and/or the rock’s shadow.
It looks like the rock used to touch the ground but someone shaded that out using MSPaint.
Or, someone took a picture of a rock, pasted it into the existing picture, and colored around it to make it match the environment.
In any case, it’s very obviously fake when enlarged and zoomed in.

the floating rock is real. my uncle just came back from Israel a few days ago. He actually went to see the rock and took pictures of it. It’s all real.

actually, i dont know if im gonna believe about that floating rock. im a christian and im studying in a muslim area. anyway, my muslim friends keep on telling me that the floating rock is true. they said every haj, their relatives and parents used to visit that. i dunno if that is true or not. i respect everybody’s religion so i cant judge them about the whole story of the floating rock. we all know that science cannot explain everything right? so for us to believe if that is true or not, y not visit it? hehe.

I believe it is true. I have a read an editor’s reportation. He gave some pictures of him under that stone. Guess what ? It is inside the Al Aqso Mosque. And it was difficult to get a permission to enter that “country”.
A simple run through a hex editor will tell you this image was manipulated using adobe.
It is everyone’s personal choice and personal path what they choose to have faith in but as for the image….it’s a fake.

I like yr style most! Very diplomatic, tactful and realistic. For those who wants to quench their curiosity, go visit the place and view in person for real. If the photo was a fake, then the person faking it has to be responsible. Thats all. If its real, then its real! We all hv individual beliefs and views, at the same time, we do need to consider other’s feelings too. Debate if need be, but make it on a positive note and constructively. The things that science cant explain, make yr references in the Holy Quran. They hv plenty of chapters about science anyway ….. like hv anyone ever questioned why or what or who controlled the law of gravity naturally? Or what or who controls which ’souls’ reach out to which foetus in mothers’ wombs worldwide? Some things are simply unexplainable whilst some others are just not meant to be visible but its there. Otherwise vocabs like ‘faith’ and ‘belief’ and ‘miracle’ would not hv existed in the dictionary I suppose. I heard that the picture is fake. There are several websites that I have visited before talking about the original rock. I will posted later when I have the address.

Ok, here is one website that writes the true story of the floating rock and pictures of the original rock at several different angles. It shows that there are actually supporting rocks beneath it.

secondly there is such a rock….seems to be true.in Saudi Arabia in AL AHSA…not truely hanging but attached to ground and photos are taken to look like its floating.

Final interesting point..can a rock float…meta physics says YES IT CAN..there are some interesting photos of cars floating in the air in USA car park.so anything which breaks our logics and rules of our physics is possible under meta physics and is called a miracle.But one is surely allowed to find out some reason behind a miracle even a conspiracy..

Dear brothers/sisters, please donot let people make you fools. What I see above has three parts:
1. Existence of Allah/God.
2. Reality of Ascent (Miraj)
3. Floating rock.
Let me comment on these.
1. You see nothing in the air, right? Does it prove that there is no picture/voices (equivalence) in air? Think yourself. Clue – TV, radio, etc. You may also remember the mirages in desert and polar areas which you studied in Physics. Does a mirage prove that what you see is a real? So, you need to think & study to logically prove that there must be God. If you have troubles, please ask Steven Hoking, or read his statements.
2. Reality of Miraj is an Islamic belief. In Hadiths we find some indirect evidences. Because, Miraj was a miracle to the Prophet only. For us, Allah gave the Quran. Just to remind you, my Jewish & Christian friends, there is a story of time traveling with prophet Moses in the Bible. How can you explain that? Also the parting of the sea. So, the law of nature is not the ultimate reality. We believe, God showed so many miracles through prophets as miracles (events against the law of nature). So, let us not argue with the reality of Miraj.
3. The picture of the floating rock!!! My dear Muslim friends, be aware of some clever guys who will continuously make you fools. Without an evidence of authenticity, pls donot stick to this photo. But, it is not a problem to believe in a floating rock which might be somewhere. Remember Zulkarnine (or Dhulkarnine) & Yajuj/Majuj (or Gog/Magog). We Muslims, Christians & Jew believe that Zulkarnine covered Yajuj & Majuj with iron wall on this earth. But, none of us can find it now. Allah promises us to show them us at the end-time, just as He promised preservation of the dead body of the pharaoh in the Quran which we proved after 1400 years. There are numerous things like this, e.g., the city of Iram, the lowest land on earth, the Big Bang, 7 layers in earth, multiple layers of current in deap seas, the embrio looking like a leech, etc.
So, please, don’t be abusive at all. Just sincerely think, study & travel with a mentality of seeking knowledge. You will see the reaility and find peace. Non-Muslim friends, please, carefully read the Quran with understanding. You will find the truth.

We don’t need miracles to believe in our Creator, we have the Quran which is miracle to all the miracles and the direct saying of the GOD. We need to believe what is there in the Holy Quran and the Hadiths, because Quran is flawless purely containing the words of The Almighty God and Hadiths record the life of the holy Prophet(Peace be upon him). If you find anything about this stone in the those Noble Records, please state it here. Haven’t Allah shown His various signs which He has mentioned in the Holy Quran, why not talk about those which can never ever be fake and why are we talking about a topic which was hardly found by anyone here in the Quran/Hadith and moreover it doesn’t have a clear evidence as in our discussion, but ofcourse I am not saying we should deny the fact, since I can’t surely say that its not mentioned in the Hadith, but I just wanna to bring to notice that someone here said that if this was a true photo, then it would be the best place of Islam, that is not at all true, there are more wonderful and magnificient miracles of Allah but they are all for signs of God but not for being judged to be holiest or worship worthy and all, and a kid was saying there’s no Jesus out of his enthusiasm but if anybody says there’s no Jesus(Peace be upon him), he is denying the Quran, so protect yourself against such sins coming from our unawareness and over enthusiasm.

Do you also believe in Santa Clause and the Easter Bunny? I hate to break it to you, but religions are not real. They are ruining the world and the world is worse because of them.
