Regarding the nessy pics it looks a lot like the wake from a boat. They even say there were to power boats buzzing around at the time it was taken. From experience ive seen the wakes of boats there and it can look quite unusual, sometimes it will take a long time for the wake to get ashore or close enough to identify it for what it is, certainly the boat can be long gone by that time.
I live nearby and often take walks along the banks, ive seen many wakes, many boats but sadly no Nessie yet, and from the photo im pretty sure these guys didnt either…
