New Photo - Sister's Spirit

"In January of 2007, my sister was very ill, and and on a Friday early morning she died," says Missy. "We went home, still in a state of shock about losing our beloved family member. Around 6 p.m. I said, 'Let's all go karaoke and sing the songs our sister loved.' When it was my brother's turn to sing, my niece took a pic of him. He told me that he felt a strong presence of our sister behind him. When the picture was developed, we were all in shock because of the image that appeared behind my brother." That’s an amazing picture, considering the circumstance. I’m not an expert, but the anomaly looks so bright compared to other anomalies in other photographs I’ve seen.
I hate to disappoint you, but it’s probably cigarette smoke. the same thing happened in some of my vacation pictures…
i have alot of expierience with supernatural and this is a nice pic. hope it was your sister and not someone else
somehow I doubt thats cigarette smoke because the point thats most focused has a trail of ’smoke’ going downwards and smoke likes to go up but i do think this photo could be real
the link to the larger picture does’nt work . but by the look of the smaller photo it’s very simimler to things i’ve seen before . your sister was with you that night and she’s watching over you .

Yes indeed, I believe that is your sister in the picture, and she was letting you know that her spirit was there with you! I have had a similar experience! RDH

It seems like you have some anger issues! sort them out! and how csn you tell that their sister was with them that night and is looking over them??

If other people can see the picture, then there is no problem with either the link or the picture. The problem is with your computer. Probably somewhere between the chair and the keyboard.
firstly to jay ( comment on aug the 17 ) you ask i can i tell that the image in the photograph is the sister . i have encounterd such many experences over the year both of frends houses ( one or two have been extremly active and have studied the subject of paranormal activty for many years . it is not un commen for the spirite of a recently departed loved one too hag on for one last good bye before departing to the next world some remain for years . now has that resolved my “problem” as you call it no anger issues there eh . no you tell me how can you tell me that the image is not their sister ? .
My first thought was that it wasn’t paranormal. I saved the pic to documents then zoomed in with the windows picture and fax viewer. Probably pareidolia but i swear I can see a face (looks like a man) between the first and second “legs” of the anomaly. At the bottom of the actual anomaly it looks like something of a closed fist. I’m highly cautious of spirit photography though. It’s sad they lost their sister. Eerie picture.

thanks for your response! It is only right that I now answer your question, to which the answer is that I cannot tell whether or not it is her sister – like you the subject of the paranormal has fascinated me for a long time, however, I like to rule ’simple answers’ out of the equation before I will say that it is a spirit, for example there was a suggestion of it being cigarette smoke, which I doubt! But that doesn’t mean that it couldn’t be something else instead of an apparition of the sister, for example maybe there is a problem with the camera itself!
If you were shown the picture and not necessarily told the sister had passed away hours before, would you be able to tell from the picture that it is the spirit of his sister?
jay ….thanks for yor response in whats turning into a very livly and interesting debate .like you said i would rule out it being ciggeret smoke a fault with the camara mabe . to a sceptic ( not suggesting thats the case with you) there would be a multitude of reasons for it .having see many similar such photos over the year i cannot just dissmiss it as just a fault as the man in the picture is looking very at ease and later told his family that he felt the presence and warmth of his sister i,ve been in house were sprites have not been so frendly and belive me they soon let you know if they don’t want you there .

It looks like SMOKE to ME! But it does have a BLUISH TINT to it. I don’t recall ever seeing any smoke having a bluish tint to it before. (But the shape and flowing in all appearance is simmilar to look like SMOKE, at least it is to ME) But, I think all SMOKE is GRAYISH WHITE, at least I’ve NEVER seen smoke with bluish tint. The bluish tint really DOES stand out very clearly in this photo. Has anyone here ever seen, or has anyone here ever heard tell of anyone ever seeing smoke with a bluish tint? Or has anyone here ever seen a GHOST with a bluish tint? I have seen ghosts in the past; some appeared as really human form, meaning I couldn’t see through them, and on three occasions, I saw SMOKY ghost apparitions, and all three apparitions were GRAYISH-WHITE in appearance. Anyway, I don’t think it’s a GHOST. Just MY opinion. Rachel
Many restaurants and bars don’t allow smoking. So, Missy, if you’re reading… does this place allow smoking? If not, that would eliminate that possibility. (For the record, however, I think it looks like cigarette smoke, too.)
My mother died when I was 17. At the funeral, someone took a picture of my 13 year old brother and me. When it was developed, there was a shimmering ray of light falling only on us. We thought it was very inspiring until I worked at a photo lab and learned it was an “exposure” issue. I still love to look at that picture and think of my mother’s love shining down on us. I am sure, no matter the cause of the light in your picture, your sister was happy you all decided to be so fun
loving in her memory, instead of sitting at home depressed…
