Bigfoot Prank Almost Results in Tragedy
Saturday December 15, 2007
This news story serves as a serious warning to all would-be Bigfoot hoaxers out there: You might get shot. Fortunately, no one was injured in this incident in Wiregrass, Alabama, but this was a foolish prank – especially during hunting season. It would be just as insane to prance around in the woods disguised as a deer.
This incident again raises the ethical question: Should Bigfoot be hunted down, shot, and even killed just to prove that it exists? Believe it or not, a few Bigfoot researchers say that this would be justified if it gives them the evidence – a body – that they have long sought. Most researchers, however, suspect that Bigfoot creatures might represent a higher form of primate, possibly with advanced intelligence, and should be protected. I agree with that. Searched for, not shot. What do you think?

Do whatever needs to be done to prove or disprove
If it’s honestly out there, someday its existence will be proven. It’s just that simple. Shooting at it will only get someone hurt, as this incident proves.
I would definitaly say go the research method, if we were to shoot one the idea might make someone get off their couch and go get themselves one - it WOULD soon turn into a black market trade because of the rarity and the sum of cash would be high due to this, because of this more will go out to get this high paying trophy then before u know it (if it does exist) theyd be wiped out in a blink of an eye knowing how rare they are meaning low numbers, then i mean in public’s eyes generally through the media its saying that its alright to go out there and shoot something just to prove it and that might mean to prove anything, anyway thats my view
Bigfoot and UFO’s are often found or seen together. Solve the one, and you’ve solved the other.
It doesn’t really matter either way considering bigfoot isn’t real.
NO to those who want to track Big Foot down to kill the creature “just to prove” it’s out there. I say we leave it alone. The Scientific Community and other “trophy seeker fanatics” have interfered, intervened, disected, bisected, experimented, invaded and sometimes destroyed little known habitats world-wide in attempts to prove existence of rare and unusual creatures in our mysterious world and beneath the sea. What a pity if no mysteries are left to us…why must we feel compelled to solve nature’s riddles, thus leaving nothing left to the imagination and wonder?
