My finger regenerated too. When I was five my mother accidently slammed my finger in the car door. the whole tip came off, same as in the story, the nail skin- right down to the bone. When I got to the hospital the dr said that since I was so young reattaching the finger might not work but BECAUSE i was so young it would grow back. AND it did.It took awhile and it still looks a little messed up-the tip is slanted and there is a little dead skin under the nail. but, it is all grown back nail,skin and fingerprint! there was no scraping pig cells or anything, it did it on it’s own. I can even get manicures. Mother Nature is amazing!!!
