"All my life I've been afraid of water," says water3006 in the Paranormal Forum. "My parents tell me that ever since they tried to get me to swim when I was five, I ran away crying and screaming like I was dying, and even to this day I won't go swimming. I won't even put my foot in a pool; I rarely even drink a glass of water. What makes me think I drowned in a past life is because when I went to the Atlantic Ocean on a vacation with my wife, I couldn't even stand the sight of the water; normally, this isn't the case. So do you think I drowned in the Atlantic Ocean in a past life?"
There is a theory that our fears, phobias, passions, interests -- even some of our birthmarks -- might be caused by past life experiences. Of course, there is no way to prove that, but it's an interesting idea. What do you think? Add your comments in the Paranormal Forum.

person died in another life, unless he
has been regressed it is all conjecture.
Even if he was regressed, was he regressed by somebody proficient, or did he fall into the hands of some charlatan who asked leading questions? It is very easy to build a ‘past life’ if suggestions are made. Given the lack of real solid evidence for reincarnation we can only look at curious coincidences.
Plus, Honesdale – naming a condition does not necessarily rule out a previous trauma that may have caused it.
I can surely identify with the poster. All my life I’ve been afraid of water. I feel I died in a Tsunami in a past life. I’ve had many dreams of Tsunami’s when I was a teen. I’ve even had panic attacks while on bridges, on the beach(when I saw a sign warning against the possibility of a Tsunami), when seeing the ocean in the horizon, and while I was at an aquarium when I entered a tunnel that had a glass ceiling and glass sides that were surrounded by sea life and water. When I was a girl, I was the only child in a class of 8 children who was not able to learn to swim. I was terrified of water….and still am.
…Matter of fact, You did drown in the Atlantic Ocean…at a very young age….. (Teenager, maybe) when the ship you were on, headed for America, went down…
