The Haunted Bed

Follow me on:

"I used to share my room with my brothers," says Styles. "One weekend, I remember my father had brought home some new beds for my brothers. Since I was the youngest at the time, I got their old one. The first thing I noticed was that these mattresses where plaid in material, which was odd. It started off with this weird night I was in my bed trying to go to sleep. I had the blanket over my head when I felt something rubbing the cover with its hand. Because the cover was thin, I could make out what it looked like...." Are you sure you want to know? If so, read the rest of Styles' story.

Pardon me for saying so, but why has so many people, have such terrible spelling, no offence meant ………… Just an observation. I had my knuckles whacked with a ruler, if I had spelt a word wrong when I was at school

Someone not knowing how to spell, should not complain, a little like the pot calling the kettle black don’t you think! Also your grammar is pathetic, I really hope you were just trying to make a point. That’s all…

ALSO
There is no word “spelt” unless youre talking about a grain. The word is spelled. I wouldnt even comment about this generally except that I taught English and Grammar in Elementary School and its one of my PET PEEVES!!!

trav, I’ll bet you check your comment very carefully before submitting it. You wouldn’t want the same criticism directed at you. By the way, wouldnt is wouldn’t. Moreover, why the “better than thou” attitude? Is it really called for?

As for the story, it’s a little child’s dream in a strange bed. My sister and I had plenty of them when we children. I imagine a lot of abduction stories that occur at night are the same sort of thing.

I, too, have come to the conclusion that my bed may be haunted. It’s a beautiful king-size water bed. It was hand made by someone my ex-father-in-law knew. My ex-father-in-law passed it on to me and my (then) husband. Since that bed came into my home, my life became one big catastrophy. Several times during the night I would even be pulled half way from the bed by someone/thing that was not visible. It scared the **** out of me. I even went through a divorce that has just literally devistated me and ruined my life.
