"I lived in a haunted house for two years in Minneapolis, Minnesota," says A. Anderson. "The very first day I moved in, I saw a floating female face in my closet, which was actually more like a tunnel going into the wall. My bedroom was definitely the most active room in the house. My door would open and slam shut all the time. I tried putting all of my weight against the closed door to see if it would open, but you had to turn the knob all of the way to make it open. I believe this was an active haunting because it seemed that the ghost was listening to us...." Find out why A. Anderson thought that. Read the rest of the story.

I find the cottage poltergeist rather unlikely- It takes a lot of energy for ghosts to maintain physical form moreso throw things. I believe that whatever poltergeist activity took place was caused by the person, rather than the ghosts.
