"My mind aches over the possibility of a worm hole that might possibly lead to a tangent universe," writes Jimmy. "Since ancient paranormal artifacts can't be explained because they appear to us as abnormal futuristic tool or objects that haven't been created since our present day. I believe this can only be explained by a worm hole that connects us to a tangent or (futuristic) universe to were these items make their way to us through time travel. Can you possibly shed some light on my poorly strained mind?"
Worm holes and tangent universes are theoretically possible, according to many scientitsts, Jimmy, but of course we have no direct evidence for them. Another possibility for those mysterious ancient artifacts is that highly advanced civilizations existed and were destroyed long before our current historical timeline. I think when looking at situations like this, a lot of people forget to consider how inaccurate radiocarbon dating can be; especially for really ancient artifacts. The earth can be “contaminated” by things such as volcanic eruptions where the intense heat from the eruption disrupts any chance of getting an accurate date from the rock formed. Volcanic rock from eruption known to happen a 100 years ago could be dated to being millions of years old because of the “heat contamination”. Part of the problem here is that scientists typically assume that the present is the key to the past, and that unless they know of something specific such as a volcanic eruption, the samples of earth they take for testing are assumed to be uncontaminated. It’s one reason why many scientists typically dismiss the idea of a great flood ever happening – the flood would “contaminate” the layers of earth that existed at the time of the flood. So in other words, is the scientists assume wrong about the state of the samples they take, the date obtained from the sample would potentially be way off. Out of place artifacts found in rocks dating to be many thousands or even millions of old may just simply be dated wrong based on some contamination they haven’t accounted for (such as a flood!).
Another thing to consider is that the out of place artifacts people have found were simply the innovations of a single person. It’s not necessarily that artifacts found were something common (at the time) that has been forgotten about. It’s not that the Egyptians (plural) knew how to built pyramids, only an Egyptian (an individual) had to figure out how to do it. The builders then just had to be directed on what to do. This concept could apply to the Baghdad battery or anything else. If the person never taught anyone how to do what they did, then the technique could be forgotten to history.
