"This story took place in August of last year," says Nick. "I was approximately 16 at the time and this happened in my hometown of Westbrook. My friend Matt had told me about a ritual he had read about on a website; it is known as a séance -- the art of summoning a spirit from another world, which involved a mirror, total darkness and concentration, and reciting an incantation.
