Ghost in the Cellar

"This incident took place in Gorham, New Hampshire in a town called Cascade Flats 48 years ago," says Maureen. "I was 18 at the time. The house was very old and sat on a riverbank. I was sitting in my mother's living room watching television. I was alone in the house. At some point I heard noises coming from our cellar... banging noises. I started to hear louder and louder banging. Then I heard what sounded like a crowd of people down there, so I decided I had had enough. I approached the cellar door and opened it...."
