The Wem Town Hall Ghost and the Ghosts of the SS Watertown have been regarded as two of the best ghost photos ever taken, considered by many paranormal researchers as likely to be genuine. But have both of these photos recently been proved to be hoaxes? Take a look at these updates and very intersting linked articles about new investigations into these pictures:

I definitely think that the girl from the Wem Town Hall is the same girl in the postcard. I superimposed the one picture over the other and they match up perfectly except the face is just slightly different. I am sure that is from being inserted into the fire photo.

On the other one I always thought that was a fake. :)

Apart from being out of scale and seeming to overlap the railing or whatever that is between them and the photographer, I always thought the Watertown faces looked pretty much like two copies of one face.

The Wem Town Hall girl definitely seems to be the one from the postcard, although at least that one is a nicer-looking fake than the other!
