REPORT FROM A READER:
Poltergeist Effect

"I understand how a living person can create a 'poltergeist' with intense emotions," says Bob. "My experience was in a store years ago, and for some reason I was not in the mood for anybody's crap! Well, a guy walked right in front of me disrespectfully. That's all it took. I instantly became internally enraged! I looked at the back of his head and thought how I would like to punch him really hard in the back of his head. He was a few feet in front of me and I actually visually saw myself hitting him, and at that moment he responded to it like he got smacked right in the back of his head: he fell forward and looked at me startled like I actually hit him."

Bob, an experience like this certainly does demonstrate that high emotions can produce psychokinetic effects. It has long been thought that so-called poltergeist activity is caused, subconsciously, by the minds of the person or people who experience them. Usually these people are under emotional, psychological or physical stress of some kind. These effects can include raps on walls, books and other objects flying across the room, furniture moving, lights flickering or going on and off, etc. By definition, these effects are considered psychokinesis or telekinesis since the objects are not touched physically. It's interesting that the effects you caused were not subconscious, but deliberate -- and potentially dangerous!

Many years ago my family experienced something that resembles this kind of phenomenon. One evening while the whole family (parents and three kids) was watching TV, a thick heavy board that covered the entrance to the small attic space rose up three or four feet of its own accord and smashed down with such force that it splintered all over the hallway. Aproximately 6 or 7 months later it happened again. We moved shortly after the second time.

I have had ghosts surrounding me all my life, having I also infant memory. I had always thought that everyone experienced them, also had infant memory, until I was about 30 to 40 years of age, when I discovered how different I must be from others.I still have these (apparently)abnormalities and just live normally with them. I do not understand them as at all being abnormal,ie, paranormal; indeed, if I suddenly had them not,I would think that something had gone terribly wrong with me. Also, I hear ghosts and/or spirits speaking from things like fans blowing and streams flowing and I do also have imparied hearing, so say medical doctors. Go figure!
