Ghost sets off alarm, caught on video

Habitat for Humanity ghostA surveillance camera may have captured the moving image of a ghost, seen in this video. The motion-sensing alarms were triggered at the Habitat for Humanity store in Franklin, North Carolina. The police responded but could find nothing amiss. When store employees checked the surveillance video footage, however, a mysterious figure can be seen moving across the warehouse. The ghostly figure appears near a closed door, walks down a few steps and then across the area.

Without seeing the original footage, it's difficult to say what the figure is or how clear it is. A paranormal investigator examining the video says, "You can almost make out distinct features." We cannot yet declare this as a genuine ghost, but it is interesting that whatever it is set off the alarm.

What do you think?

It could be the remains of an image from the previous recording on the tape if they use the same ones over and over.

Yeah but the thing is, it wouldn’t set off an alarm would it? I think it should be investigated into more.

Surveillance camera with analog video recording (previous recording on the tape)? I don’t think so. Today are all videos recorded digitally to computer hard disk.
I think, this was mice or some ather animal.

It was a probably a bird that got stuck in the store. It happens all of the time.Being a Habitat for Humanity store,I am sure they have doors open often so they can get building materials out.

This is some very awesome footage. It proves what many people already know. That ghost’s DO walk with the living. As for your article on Ghost’s & should we fear them ? I was a little disappointed Stephen. Especially when there was no place to leave a comment after you stated ghosts can’t harm us. I have endured scratching, being shoved (HARD) and my daughter ( a toddler)was slapped on numerous occasions. What is in your heart when you die is what you take with you in death.A person who is physically violent in life, can also be after death. I have seen too much to say absolutely no to anything and you shouldn’t either. I do love your articles, but please, understand that for those of us who are para-normally sensitive to read that ghosts cannot physical harm us is a bit hard to swallow. Ghosts are pure energy, and if they want to slam their energy into ours it will hit our outer surface (our bodies). Even an electrician can be shocked and repelled backwards from a surge of high voltage. I do enjoy your articles and semi-skeptical point of view on things. I will definitely put you on my list of people I will visit when I die. Hopefully not very soon though…..lol….

Interesting video. I will keep an open mind as to what it could be.

For (5) User, just because the technology is available, doesn’t mean people can afford it. Most especially if you are a non-profit organization like Habitat for Humanity. Did you not notice how old the monitor is that the woman interviewed used?? Most people and companies these days have flat screens, but, again, only if you can afford them. Did you also notice the bar that scrolled through the video imagery? That only happens with analog and is probably indicative of something used over and over.

My burglar alarm goes off occasionally in the night time for no reason. We sleep upstairs and leave the night alarm on downstairs. Couple of nights ago it went off and I came downstairs to turn it off and reset it, but as soon I went upstairs it went off again and then I had to leave it off. I don’t know why this happened, my house is small and I don’t have rats or other pets at all. This happened a couple of times before in last year and now just a week ago. If the alarm is faulty then it would go off every time its on but there is definitely something. I believe in ghost and other spirits as my religion confirms it presence. Now I always pray some verses from the Quran every night and this has stopped which confirms that alarm is fully functional and there are something like that in my house.
