Now that the whole world, it seems, has viewed this behind-the-scenes footage of the 1928 Charlie Chaplin film, "The Circus" that some allege might show a time traveler, it's time to step back and be logical about the whole thing. Read my analysis.

I think it is an illusion that she is talking, simply because we think we see her using a phone. But I saw only a slight movement of her mouth toward the end of the clip, that to me, didn’t resemble speaking. It was a slight opening, then closing of her mouth.
As to holding something (cell phone or other device), she is holding her hands in a very abnormal way. Index and middle fingers are both toward the back of her head. Test this positioning of your own hand, and you’ll find it not the most comfortable way of holding any device. The toothache/cold compress would seem more likely in this case.
I have a copy of ‘The Circus’! It was only purchased recently (in Australia) and it is a great film. There are special features within the DVD ie. behind ‘The Circus’ scenes but nothing extraordinary (apart from Chaplin’s talent as the greatest comedian) stands out. The elderly lady ‘extra’ is blink and miss. She was most definitely NOT a time-traveller! Her clothing is very much from the period and quite possibly listening into a hearing aid. There is no mention of this lady ‘being a possible time-traveller’ in these special features. Absolutely no attention is drawn upon her.
I do not believe this is a time traveler. That being said, I do beleive that dimensional travel is possible. (Not saying this is an example.) I think that much of the paranormal activity that people experience may be voices or apparitions from other dimensions basically entering and leaving our dimension. We cannot control dimensional travel but perhaps people in another dimensions can. As far as our paranormal experiences I think that many of them are just accidents and being in the right place at the right time to catch an apparition that has just entered our dimension. One dimension may “bleed” into another dimension for a second or two and cause paranormal activity.
There’s an answer for everything, and here’s mine for this:
