The Bible tells us that God created Adam and Eve just a few thousand years ago, by some fundamentalist interpretations. Science informs us that this is mere fiction and that man is a few million years old, and that civilization just tens of thousands of years old. Could it be, however, that conventional science is just as mistaken as the Bible stories? There is a great deal of archaeological evidence that the history of life on earth might be far different than what current geological and anthropological texts tell us. Consider these astonishing finds.

I think that the bible is right about one thing, we’re just viewing it wrong. We’re supposed to make ourselves better from reading the bible, the same is said with past mistakes, who said the bible isn’t a book telling us what happened on a before Earth? Adam and Eve may of existed, just not in our time.

(2) Russell Johnson says:

I believe there is more than a little information in the Bible about a race of beings before Adam. I have studied it carefully and have no doubts in my mind. You might want to consider the source though. . . I am a fundamentalist Christian who believes the bible is absolutely true and inerrant.

But which version of the Bible is the absolute truth as directed by God? Usually, the only folks that make the statement that you made are totally unaware of how many versions of the Jewish and Christian Bibles exist and which all are considered infallible.

My favorite scripture is Mark Chapter 27, verse 15.

Most of the main stories of the Old Testament – Adam and Eve, Noah’s ark, etc – were hijacked from the Sumerians by Elijah during the Babylonian captivity. The Sumerian versions predate the appearance of the ‘Israelites’ by 1000 years or more. Very little is unique to the Israelite story. Ever wonder why Moses is never mentioned outside the Bible or why the pyramids aren’t mentioned in it? Because the author was never in Egypt! If you want a better understanding, read Zecharia Sitchen’s Earth Chronicles and Jan Irvin’s Astrotheology & Shamanism for starters.

The antikythera mechanism was recently profiled in detail in the New Yorker magazine, with a lot of information from X-rays and speculation as to its maker and use as well as profiles of people who researched it. I recommend that article for readers of this website.

(6) Kandinsky says:

Most artefacts presented as mysterious are far from it, for example the ones in the list are mostly identified.

‘Grooved spheres’ are Klerksdorp spheres, collectible concretions.

The Dropa Stones are from an expedition to Tibet that never happened. It was a fictional book by David Agamon (Sungods in Exile).

The Ica Stones were modern creations. Fortean Times has an online article that explains the facts of the matter and interviews one of the creators.

The Antykithera Mechanism has been recreated and is genuinely outstanding in its ingenuity. There’s an excellent Nature documentary on YT about its origins.

The Baghdad batteries do appear to generate a small current of 1.5 volts; whether this was intended by the creators is debatable. In their original forms, they were capped by a bitumen seal that wouldn’t cater to extracting the speculated current. The most popular explanation is that they were containers for religious/prayer scrolls.

The Coso object is a Champion spark-plug. Most likely it came from a combustion engine used to pump water from mines. Iirc the specific model of spark-plug was identified by a collector. Who on earth wants to collect spark-plugs?!

The model aircraft is more than likely an ornamental depiction of a fish, possibly a ray.

The stone spheres of Costa Rica are genuinely interesting and mysterious in the sense of what they were intended for. They’re around 5-700 hundred years old. We know this because earthenware from that period has been found beneath some of them.

Impossible fossils certainly are. Many are used on Creationist websites to undermine the Theory of Evolution. They’ve frequently been identified (Paluxy and Laotoli footprints etc) and explained, but such sites prefer to endorse the lies.

Out of place metal objects are a problem. As far as I’m aware, they have no provenance, no chain of evidence. Most are simply references in 19th Century newspapers, line illustrations and hearsay accounts.

Ah, the sound voice of reason. When one reads a text like yours, one wonders why we ignorant people continue to argue these things, when everything is so nicely and effortlessly explained… But if those aforementioned explanations are sufficient to you, so be it. Just don’t expect everyone else to swallow them that easily.

You are wrong about Ancient Model Aircraft!!
Do some research on this subject!
None fish has such back tail.
Also are you aware that Peter Belting actually built scaled-up models of the “ornamental depiction” and they flew!!!

Shows that you know nothing of the formation of the stone spheres and likely of anything else.
Talk about throwing your cards on the table…

Kandinsky, your easy to pass off as nonsense explainations are laughable. You can never find any example in biology for a verticle rudder in any aquatic or avian specie. Woulde you be coming from a biblical understanding of the planet, because it seems like your study stops at ‘god knows it all, so I don’t need to’ thinking.

(11) Russell Johnson says:

People simply believe what they want to believe, pro or con, up or down, in or out. Man simply does not have the proper perspective to make judgments on these things. I put NO faith in carbon dating or mans conjecture. I believe we will know one day until then be as intrigued as you like but don’t assume to KNOW anything.

Kandinsky-Voice of reason? More like closed mindedness! What are the other terms? Naysayers, debunkers and so on. Watch the video on YouTube of the scaled-up pendant, simply amazing! Fish?! Huh. No soot inside the pyramids caused be flames to be able see, the battery is more plausible. It just goes on and on, but there are people that just can’t or won’t except it!

I was being sarcastic, you know. Of course this person is close-minded, or should we say, easily fooled by the most simple and naive explanations.

(14) MCW says:

I have often thought, and still do, as Kandinsky does, that the model airplanes are flying fish, but you never hear this theory on The History Channel or any of the other so-called science shows.

(15) YOLKYLIP says:

OK you say fish and I do understand how you’ve come to this conclusion but can you explain the hieroglyphics in the temple of Osiris at Abydos you know, the ones that depict a helicopter, submarine, flying saucer, and a jet plane? http://www.ancientwisdom.net/egypt/assets/old/fullrelief.jpg

(16) SamL says:

I hate to repeat this but with another wild idea with no basis in fact,,, can YOU MCW, point to any living thing past or present that has a verticle rudder. I didn’t think so. Your kind are completely dumb to living things. Nothing but artificially constructed things, man made or other made, have ever had a verticle rudder.

(17) Grumpa says:

Most people will see what they want to see, as humans we are very good at filling in the blanks. We see all sorts of shapes in clouds, trees and ice formations. Having said that, I don’t think we can dismiss all these as hoaxes or easily explained objects. There have been many brilliant minds trying to decypher these for years, not all of them could be fooled for so long.

(18) Brad says:

Yes, the Bible does relate that God created Adam and Eve, probably around six thousand years ago, but the Book of Genesis also speaks of other people living at roughly the same time, hence Cain taking a wife and siring children, and Adam and Eve’s son Seth being married and having children.

The Bible was never intended to be a book of science…so please don’t refer to it as fiction. Scientists once believed that Blacks and Jews were inferior to white Anglo-Saxons, too. Religion isn’t always right, but neither is science.

June 15, 2011 at 9:50 pm
(19) Russell Johnson says:

Actually, the Christian Bible is the ONLY true book of science ever written. The best definition of science is “Knowledge especially that gained by experience.” (The American Heritage Dictionary definition #4) Only God has the proper perspective to write such a book and its accuracy is being proven all the time. In the end we all believe what we will and will face the consequences of our particular paradigm. Should we dare to believe something beyond our particular ability to prove? Hhhmmm. . .

How nice the whole world is pimping itself on Fake Book and here in the wee hrs. 5a.m.ish as all the craziness has subsided again i find myself able to connect to the all of us in our Omnipresence. Behold a subject worth talking about.. The joy of it all.
My former father in law, bless his soul. Would tell me like most men. “Opinions are like a**holes and every one has a right to his”. So, u smile and in order to avoid conflict refrain from saying “that is exactly the inexcusable response that excused free men into a place where we now have no freedom and remain in a society that passes uncontested slavery unto its children”. He is also the first person to pass me a Masonic “won’t u be my neighbor book”. I read it and within a few short pages kinda like being in a Catholic church. It made me i’ll and i needed to puke, put it down or step outside. I respect that man. My father is a awesome Mason and i respect him above all men.

This is not rocket science, so to speak. Everybody tells me i make things complicated. I think i know everything. Life is everything why wouldn’t we know it. “Its simple, just very complex”. i use now for reply. So much going thru my mind i wish i had time for. In America even in Texas for God’s sake people don’t want to talk about Religion or Politics at the supper table. It might offend somebody. Why? Because quickly we would be actually debating and disciple unto each other heatedly because the two subject are so important that emotion is intermediately interjected. Well GOOD…I could debate anything i believe as Truth with anybody anytime only to realize a year or two later i didn’t have a clue what i was talking about from more knowledge gained from the one basic thought that has us here now.
NOTHING is important except is it true or is it false. I don’t give a dam about anybody’s opinion not even mine i just want what we all better want together… The TRUTH.

In reverse order everything makes sense.. Always take the Now and look into whatever we may or my be being lied to about the past.

I’ll rant forever in any area close to this so lets get to the stink.! I’m 44 years young.
Life and Society are in conflict every day but have nothing to do with each other. If you can not separate the two immediately as u are bombarded continually by both then u have no foundation’s whatsoever… What i do know is what we all know. I live in a nation that is about to have the rug pulled out from it’s feet economically >BY DESIGN…..OF COURSE…..Nothing happens by happenstance. NOTHING..! Their is law, there is order. Their is structure in everything and for all we know our DNA may be the most highly prized thing in existence anywhere. We may be being viewed by other life forms like were in a Zoo. Mars colonized already, jump rooms, star gates, whatever the Hell Hollywood is shoving in your face or NASA could be all lies or all hidden truth…. No- Matter where u stand on all these subjects it’s still divine………….Their is still a subatomic ozz of quantum omnipresence. I know we have been lied to about all being one family and most of u do too. You can feel me, each other everything in life is connected and its a beautiful order.

Society is manipulated, extorted, false values from a monetary system that has always been rigged to burden dept and enslave us while we work to give means and profit to the same people that are responsible for extorting the wealth to divide conquer. Wars manipulated upon wars. As if Pearl Harbor was not a manipulated surprise. A girl scout could see that 911 was a textbook demo. When i told my father i had to come to the admission by due diligence and tons of evidence that Our own EVIL leaders and Israeli Intelligence were responsible for mothers and fathers jumping to their deaths. A #1 nightmare for all because we all were connected to it before it happened. He said. Son.. i don’t wann hear that kind of bs in my home… I said good. I’m glad as an American you offended you’ll get over it and thats just the beginning of the reality we are all gonna except sooner or later. We see now as Monsanto’s efforts to bio-engineer all seed out of existence. Mankind is on the hit list at every level. The evidence of human kind being stripped from the face of this earth is everywhere. All seed of this culture dish is to be stomped out eradicated.. How is anybody interested not seeing this unless of course they haven’t had access to internet. Even so, that is not needed.. Nothing is. You don’t have to hear the young King Kennedy ask the people of this nation. USA for help because of what he found we were up against.. Hell Yeah, its a spiritual war.
