Every year there are several documented reports of rains of small fish, frogs, or some other small creatures. There was just such a report in this past week's news from Agusan del Sur in the Philippines, where it rained a species of small fish. Similar accounts have come from all over the world for centuries.
What could possibly be the cause? Skeptics say that the animals must have been picked up from shallow ponds or streams by tornadoes or strong winds, carried perhaps for miles, then dropped to earth. (If this were the case, then we'd expect the wind to drop various kinds of small animals, plants, etc., but usually just one species of the animal is found.) Other theories include: an ongoing act of creation by a Deity; seeding of the planet by aliens; they are dropped from another dimension or time; or they are just mistakes of perception (it only looks like they've dropped from the sky). Of course, some would say the reports are just hoaxes. What do you think? Take the poll:

I voted for the tornado theory but would have liked to vote on the animals dropping out of time because I find the idea intriguing and even possible.
The reason for my Not Sure answer was due to the fact, I see a choice of seeding by Aliens……….Please stop and think for a moment. I am a fish in Lake Ohcocho and all of a sudden there is a big ruckus above me, and out of nowhere comes thousands of fish…………
We restock our lakes and often release other creatures into the wild.
Our creator or creators seem to try to balance nature. The cause is rather incidental, when we realize that this could happen to us. . Maybe it did. Aliens? Maybe but I don’t think so. Realization is an answer to questions.
I think that the through the weather, frog eggs and fish eggs are picked up into the sky and then they hatch while in the clouds, and then get dropped back down.
I think there are natural explanations. My son was playing soccer once when a short, very intense thunderstorm passed through. When they went back out on the field, he said there were a few small fish lying around. My father once experienced something similar while he was at work – he came out of his office after a strong thunderstorm and found fish all over the parking lot – some of them still alive! We know that waterspouts aren’t uncommon, and when they suck water up into the air, it makes sense that they can get a lot of fish with it.
I have seen it rain little frogs and minnows a number of times. I have collected some the fallen minnows and placed them in containers of water but they hadly lived more than one to three days before they died. They would not eat while in captivity, but not doing so shouldn’t have killed them so quiclkly.
i think it could be from an erupting volcanoe, initial blast
It may be just like someone mentioned that a storm or tornado may have picked them up, but if so..wouldnt there be other creatures or debrie from the same source? I do not believe its alien seeding it even sounds dumb to say that,(i believe in other alien life or beings) but with all the tecnology they claim to have it would sound illogical to me…..its just one of those things we may never know! God is great and knowledgeable so leave it as it is, Mother Nature is awesome!
