We are all completely astonished by the incredible accomplishment by NASA engineers of safely landing the Curiosity rover on the surface of Mars. It was a daring, highly complex feat that had to be completed 100 million miles away by programmed computer control (I mean, lowering the SUV-sized rover to the surface from a hovering sky-crane! Wow!), and did it all flawlessly. In my opinion, this is a technological accomplishment comparable to the 1969 Moon landing. (Also see this amazing photo taken by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter of Curiosity descending by parachute! Fantastic!)
We're sure Curiosity will make many remarkable discoveries, but we also wonder what anomalies its photographs might show. Will it find signs of life? Evidence of a past Martian civilization? New mysteries? We'll see!

First ,Like the others passed missions, they always find something, but they don,t reveal to the public, they keep the good stuff for them, and just for us,pictures of dirt, rocks, debris.
I’ve seen a landing over and over. It all looks the same to me at this point. All the good stuff we’ll never see as mentioned in the previous comment. Been there, done that…show me something to WATCH!
