Why can’t it be both? Do big “concert” type readings with a large audience and help individuals/families for free.
That’s an interesting question. John Edward, the famous medium, once said in one of his books about casinos: “they follow me around, b/c they think I’m going to scam them…” He goes on, “I remember going to the Roulette Wheel and I kept getting a black 36 in my mind, so I played it over and over and over.” John Edward kept losing when he tried to profit from his psychic powers. It’s ironic though, when he walked away from the roulette wheel, his black 36 then came up!
So, he knows that he can’t predict numbers, or profit from his gift…
There’s nothing wrong with making a little money for your time. If you did not charge, than people would be knocking on your door 24/7. But if you were out shopping or something and you felt a urge to speak to someone, than that’s part of the “Calling”. Like the psychic from New York, she’s always talking to people in stores and on the street, even thou her kids have asked her not to.
Now if I had the Power to Heal, than I’d be going to “Children Hospital” at least 3 times a week and doing what I could to help others out.
