""I was 10 or 11 when my father opened up a wrapped present addressed to him with no name put as the giver," reports Steve. "It was a set of tools -- a lot of tools, probably all the tools a man would ever need to fix anything that is fixable. He immediately looked up and gave my mother a kiss, thinking that she was 'the giver,' though she looked at me funny, as if she were thinking how to ask me how I bought these tools.
"I was no older than 11 and had very little allowance money. My grandma, who was in her 80s, was sitting on the couch, and she was just as surprised as we were about the gift. To this day, my mother swears she did not buy that tool set, nor have any connections with it."
