"In 1973 in Zimbabwe, I was suffering with severe toothache, to such a degree I spent many sleepless nights as no amount of pain killers offered relief," writes Patricia. "On this particular night, I was unable to sleep as the toothache was so severe. As I lay awake in bed in the early hours of the morning awaiting daybreak, I heard footsteps of a passer-by outside the building and wondered why anyone would be walking about at that ungodly hour (probably 2.30 a.m.), and to my utter shock and confusion, the footsteps continued from outside and through the wall and into the bedroom on my right...."
