1. "That's me clapping..."
Before I started taping with my external mic, I had asked if anyone was there to please tell me their name and give me a sign, then I started taping. I only had water going in the background. It was only me and I never said anything. When I played it back, I heard this. I can't understand the first of it... sounds like it is saying, "It's me. I'm hurting." Or "I'm Ernie." Then you hear two loud claps, then the voice says, "See, that's me clapping." I'm open to this and they know it... but wish sometimes they would tell me more.

2. "I can talk..."
This was one I called the Smarty Pants. I was getting frustrated that I wasn't getting anything one night. I looked around and said, "Can anybody talk to me? Please!" I started taping. Listened back, the voice says, "I can talk. Talking to you. Can you talk?"

1. Inhale/exhale
These two EVPs were taken from my group back in Jan. ’05. We used a digital recorder, an RCA RP5012B. In the first, I ask, “Can I take pictures of you?” and then I hear a voice, but you can understand it. Nonetheless, it's awesome because you hear inhale / exhale….type of tension.

2. "Don't talk, shut up"
The second EVP is me asking “if anyone is here?” and my team member Steven says, “No” and I say, “No, No, No” and you will hear me talk some more, but the EVPs (two voices), the first one says, “Don’t talk, shut-up.” And the second voice says, “You can talk all you want.” This location has activity and I almost always walk away with an EVP of some sort, although sometimes we get nothing. EVPs are a lot like fishing.
