"Goodbye"
In April of 2005, I was visiting my local cemetery where my mother is buried. I happened to have my digital voice recorder with me that day, so I thought I'd take a stroll among some of the gravestones. I'd only spent ten minutes there when it started to lightly rain, so I decided to leave before I got too wet. As I was walking out of the cemetery, I jokingly turned around to the graves and said, "Goodbye everybody." It wasn't till I got home and checked the recording that what sounds like a female voice answers back to me, "Goodbye."

"Help me find mommy"
Back on 10/07/2005, hauntedyoudecide.com conducted a paranormal investigation of a park in a small town northwest of Omaha, Nebraska. After researching the legend of the park, I discovered it was once a cemetery and a camp during the Mormon Trail. Legend has it that a figure of a lady believed to have been on the Mormon Trail can be seen late at night. Her daughter had died when they were staying at the camp. The mother was too devistated to continue with the journey and stayed behind at the camp. Later in the evening, our group of investigators were drawn to one area of the park where a definate "cold spot" was discovered. Also, myself and one other investigator felt a definate feeling of being touched on our hands in a pulling motion. This EVP was captured at the approximate time these events took place.

"This is Steven Parker"
Prior to working for Chris Moon, I had been recording and analyzing my own EVPs since 2003, after realizing my home was haunted and wanting to see what the results would be when I recorded. Well, it surpassed everything I could even imagine. I captured this EVP in my home in New Hampshire in January of this year. I still do not know who this "Steven Parker" was and I am sharing it in case it is for someone out there that may hear this. I now reside in another state. This to me was the ultimate EVP in my experience as I did nothing to the EVP except amplify it and I did not duplicate him saying this. He repeats it 11 times, and if you listen closely he says it more adamantly each time. By the way, all EVPs should be listened to with head sets.

"Hold Me"
"Get away"
"It gets worse"

The Great Plains Paranormal Research Society is currently assisting the Metro Area Paranormal Society (M.A.P.S.) in Omaha with their ongoing investigation of a local business. During our first trip there last month, we ended up with several EVPs we thought you'd like to share.

1. The first EVP was obtained in the basement of the business where voices are heard and three seperate full-body apparitions (a man, a woman and a little boy) have been seen by multiple staff members of the business. It was digitally recorded, sounds female and responds to the investigator by saying, "Hold me."

2. The second file, the EVP audio actually came from an unattended Hi-8 video camera left in a ladies' restroom where quite a bit of activity has been reported, including stalls being shook violently before the business opens when no one else was present, and also sightings of a misty figure. In the background you can hear investigators outside the open restroom door talking, about to wrap it up for the night. Then a chilling female sounding voice says, "Get away!" then says, "It gets worse!" Both EVP files have noise reduction and amplification applied only.
