Floating Things in the Night
by Wanda H.

I have never believed in ghosts or anything like that until I moved into my recent home. I have been experiencing things at night that I don't quite understand. When I go to bed at night, I am awakened by instinct, and when I look up there is something floating around in the middle of my bedroom. I have seen several different forms and have even talked to them. (Sure felt stupid). First, I want to tell you that I leave a light on in my living room. There is a door that goes from my living room to the bathroom, walk straight through the bathroom and you will be in my bedroom. I leave the door open from the living room to the bathroom and the one from the bathroom to the bedroom I leave open a little bit so I can see the night light. Twice, I have sensed something and looked up to see my bathroom full of what looked like smoke. It scared me so bad I ran through the house sniffing and looking and didn't find anything. I went back to bed to have it repeat again the same night.

At times, I see shadows moving on the wall beside my bed and look up to see clouds of smoke coming toward my bed. It stops and I put my hand in it and it goes back into the bathroom and goes up in the vent in the ceiling. This has happened several times. I see fluorescent things that look like chandeliers floating around my bed and I see it with and without my glasses. I went to bed around 6:30 a.m. one morning when it was breaking daylight and it was light enough to see things in my bedroom. I lay on my back for awhile with my eyes closed and when I opened them there was something flying around in circles up close to my ceiling. I sort of yelled, "Hey! What are you doing?" and it took off and went up in the ceiling grate. It couldn't have been a solid object or it couldn't have gotten through those small holes. They don't scare me, but they sure make me wonder what I am dealing with.
