Shocking

Around 1967/1968, when my dad was in hospital dying of lung cancer, I was about 19 and waiting outside a sweet shop in John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock Ayrshire, for a friend. A woman and her young daughter went by and into the shop. The little girl was about 10. Just before they disappeared inside, the young girl turned and looked at me. I just happened to be watching them at the time. I don`t know why, but when the girl's eyes caught mine, I felt a jolt like I'd gotten a large electric shock. I soon forgot all about it.
A few years later, I was walking in Woolworth's when a few people passed me. I was looking at something and when I looked up I saw the back of these folks, and one of them looked round and caught my eyes. I got a jolt like a large electric shock. It was the same girl I'd seen a few years ago. She looked a bit older. I don't know why I didn`t approch her and ask who she was and why I was getting funny feelings from her. I think the shock had temporily scrambled my thoughts.
Again, I forgot all about it until the third time I got a shock from someone going past in a car. I think it was that same girl, and that was a year later. I never gave it a thought until my mother died last year, then I started thinking about it and discovered that my little sister had died about the same time that girl was born, as she would be the same age as that girl. If not, then why did I get a shock three times from the same person. I've caught many folks eyes and felt nothing. So why this girl? She would be about 45 now.
