Doppelganger and Car
by Britt

I could go on and on for pages about the weird things I have experienced. I am a true believer in the "supernatural". However, I don't believe it's so much supernatural as it is just another part of reality, as true and real, if not more so, than this keyboard I am typing on.

I am 21 years old now. All I will tell about is my "doppelganger". I've never seen her myself. The first any saw of her was only a few months ago. Quite an unhappy thought, given that I just read a moment ago that doppelgangers are an omen of death and disaster! The first person to see her was my husband. He used to work the graveyard shift as a security guard. He saw a car exactly like mine (my car is extremely unique!), right down to the slightly ajar moon roof and the front of the car was smashed and crumpled exactly like mine. (I had gotten in a car accident. I now have a new car.) There were even "key" marks on the car exactly like mine.

The girl driving the car looked exactly like me, so much so that he walked toward the car, wondering why I was visiting him at work so late. The girl in the car stared at him and backed up and drove away. He called right at that moment and asked his mother (who I was sitting across from, watching TV) and asked her if I was there. Obviously, I was. He explained what the girl was wearing and how her hair was... I was wearing the same thing and had my hair the same way... A few days later, my husband's grandparents saw who they thought was me at the grocery store, with my husband. We hadn't been to that grocery store in about a month. I guess he has a copycat too!
