Poltergeist in Blue
by Mary

My story begins in 1999 when I was 16 years old, and it all came in the door (quite literally). I was sitting with my friend in my bedroom doing the usual teenage girl thing, giggling, talking, munching on junk food etc... All of a sudden, we heard the door open and slam, and it sounded like someone was stomping through the living room and into the bathroom. Several minutes later, the toilet flushed and we again heard the stomping, and that was it. Obviously, I was terrified. I didn't consider this to be a paranormal event at the time because previous to that nothing weird had happened to me.

My friend and I assumed that there was an intruder in the house. It was quite awhile before we were brave enough to venture into the living room and there was, to our relief, no one there. The door was locked, as it always was (my father is a stickler about keeping things under as many locks as possible).

From that point on, my house became a hub for everything from electrical appliances acting up, to voices, wall markings, and destroyed clothing turning up in pieces (buttons were always missing). My family and family friends can all bear witness to this unexpected guest moving in. The doorbell rang when no one was at the door; my mother heard me or my father coming home through the door at odd hours of the day; and I heard my mother calling me from various areas of the house. My friend and I once left feeling uncomfortable after this happened (my mom was in California at the time) and as we were halfway to her house, we heard my mother screaming for me from behind us. Very disquieting!

This has been going on for eight years now. Over the years, activity increases and decreases, but one thing remains constant: blue marks still appear in my homes no matter where I reside. I have moved to New Zealand from Oregon and my husband and I still find them on our walls, our food, our clothes, and even floating on water! For a brief period they turned red, but they are blue again now. Activity also continues at my home in Oregon, or so my mother claims (although she is quieter about it these days). Blue lights nearly crashed her car twice and she's been rather uncomfortable about the subject ever since.

The most drastic events I've personally experienced was a drawer that flew across the room and crashed on the wall behind me, a plate that moved across a table at my work (while co workers were present), and the appearance of a white hand in my closet. Appliances still act up at times. Our pets have problems as well, our cats are led all over the house chasing invisible objects. We had to keep one shut in our room for awhile because it kept trying to leap off the second story stair landing. My dog back home is also known for barking madly at walls. I am happy to answer any questions you have because, as I said, these are just a few of many, many events. I have many pictures of blue marks dating back to the first group of them that appeared when I was 16.
