Your True Tales Clouds of Little People My experience might be written off by some as a ridiculous childhood fantasy, but in my own mind it was as real as anything that's ever happened to me, and I ask you to compare it with the modern experience of UFO abductions. In 1964 I lived in Abercain Road Streatham in South London. I shared a bedroom with my elderly grandfather, and my bed was by the window. On this summer evening as the sky was starting to a deeper blue, I could see the clear sky from my bed as it was so close to the wall I could see behind the curtains. Now, from the north, in the distance, I saw a number of small clouds, one after the other, quite a distance apart, and heading my way in this otherwise clear sky. Riding these small clouds, as one would ride a horse, were 12-inch-high men with thick black beards, conical metal helmets, round metal shields, and each held a Trident. As the first reached my window, it started to bump into the opened top part as if trying to get in. Of course, I was somewhat perturbed by this, and so requested I get into bed with grandfather who had come to bed by now. I got in his bed on the other side from the window; the light was on. We had a single gentleman's wardrobe against the wall which I was now facing. The next thing, these small men where stationed around the top of this wardrobe, Tridents and shields in hand, as if they where guarding the wardrobe. Next thing, the wardrobe door opened and there facing me was a fairy. She was about three feet high, had long black hair, and her clothing was brilliant white, as if made from light. All she did was look at me. The next thing, in the corner of the room by the ceiling, there appeared what I have always described as a cobweb of energy, the fairy and her guards disappeared, but the cobweb of energy still hovered there. It still hovered there for a further two weeks afterward. My mother can still remember me pointing at it and asking her what it was. She, of course, could see nothing. She proceeded to tell me how she had seen things when she had a fever with pneumonia. But I had no fever; I wasn't sick. I had been to school during the day, I got sent to my room before my stepfather came home, as he didn't want to ever see me, so it was still light, but the cobweb of energy would be there, during the daylight, and then during the dark, being light but not giving out light. This was such a memory for me that I have never let it go. Maybe if it was just the fairy, I would by now have dismissed it as a childhood dream or fantasy, but the cobweb of energy was nothing I could have fantasized, and the fact it was just hovering there when ever I went to my room. After two weeks, it was gone, never to return. < Previous story | Next story >
