Ghostly Voices
by Kelvin C.

I can recall hearing ghostly voices three times. Once when I was about five years old I was playing, and I can remember distinctly hearing a female voice softly calling my name twice. I went to see my mother because she was the only one around, but she claims not to have called me. The next time was when I was listening to some music with headphones on. The track had a jungle drum type beat that repeated for about for about five minutes, and I remember hearing someone talking, but no one else was home! It happened again with the same song later that night. The next day I listened intently to the song, but there was nothing resembling voices.

This happened in my parents' room where I saw a face in the window (second floor, no balcony or way up) at night and I always got this eerie chill, and whenever I left the house I always felt someone was watching me, even though no one was home - a real evil, creepy feeling of being watched. The last was when I was experimenting with meditation and learning. At the time I was learning Latin and Italian and I read that if while meditating you ask for help, then something will help you - I guess, like a guardian angel. So I tried this and for several days if I relaxed my mind there would be this jumble of about six voices speaking in my head. I could make out Latin and Italian, but I couldn't understand. Finally, I had enough and asked them to leave, and since then there has been nothing else. At the time of the voices though, I had several recurring dreams of a medieval monk standing over me telling me something in Latin that I didn't understand, and then when I was about to speak, he shouts, "CORDERE!" which means shut up, and I would wake up instantly. I don't know what to make of it.
