Mysterious
11:11

My story is about a number that keeps showing up in my family's life. It seemed to start after my oldest son was born. First my husband, Marty would see it on his watch. At first he thought it was a coincidence, but then he would see it on the digital clock in our car, on the TV, etc. After he told me about it, I started seeing the number. At first on the digital clock in my car and then on grocery receipts. In fact, I have a whole box of receipts with the number 11/11 on it. When I was pregnant with my daughter, the receptionist at the doctor's office scheduled a test. She said how about November 11th at 11:00. Well I was so shocked. I said okay. However, later I called and rescheduled that appointment. We all went to buy a new car and it was around 5:00 in the afternoon. Well I don't suppose the clocks are set in the brand new cars. This model had a digital clock and when my husband turned it on, guess what? The time was 11:11. We bought the car and it has always had a bad transmission problem. Another time our whole family was on a cruise and we were looking out over the ocean. Another cruise ship was out there and the lifeboats on each end had the number 11:11 on them. We went to an amusement park and went on a water ride, the number on the boat we were assigned to was 11:11. This number doesn't only come up regarding transportation either. My son and daughter have had it come up in games at school, seen it on their clocks or had it come up at strange times on tickets or receipts. It happens to all of us all the time. It is really to weird to explain. One time we were getting ready to fly out on an airplane and the pilot said our takeoff time was you guessed it 11:11. We have no control over it. I don't think it is a bad thing, but it is definitely strange and more than a mere coincidence, if you ask me. In fact, our family is so used to that number coming up that we just laugh about it now.
