Chupacabras Sighting
by Biggiwiggy

I lived in Caguas, Puerto Rico with my parents and four brothers from 1995 to 1998. We lived in a small barrio called Barrio Cebrada de Arena. I don't remember exactly when it happened, but a story that my family has loved to share with friends since our stay at Puerto Rico was one that my uncle went through and we never paid much mind to it until I read accounts in your website.

He worked at a bar up the street from our house and came home early one day. He lived right next to us so he had to pass our house on his way home. He suddenly came running into our house yelling obscenities and was scared out of his mind. He told us that he was walking when he heard something in the trees above him. He decided to check what it was and noticed a large animal. Monkeys are not a regular thing in Puerto Rico, so he looked to see what it was. He noticed that it was light in color and seemed to have fur. He said he swore it was a monkey and was just about to run into our house to tell us to look when it suddenly stood erect on one of the branches in the tree. He then saw a stream of liquid come from the tree like a fountain and realized that the animal was urinating. It then jumped out of sight and my uncle came running into our house.

We paid no mind to him because it was not harsh to call him a dishonest man, but weeks later two brothers of mine were going to go out to the yard, and as they approached the gate of our porch, a small creature with gray-like fur ran out of sight under our house. When I read the many descriptions of the Chupacabras on your website, it scares me to realize that they are exactly the same as my uncle's description.
