Monster in the Mirror

I had an experience when I was about 13 years old. My mom had left my sister and me alone while she went shopping. It was one of the first times that she had ever left us alone while she went out. I remember asking her if there was anything I could do for her while she was gone. She asked me to clean her bedroom dresser and I thought that it would be great. I got the Windex and went about cleaning the windows and then removed all her items from her dresser. She had an old mirror on her dresser that she put all perfume bottles and old jewelry boxes on top of. The mirror was about 12" by 24". I sprayed the Windex on the mirror, cleaned it and then leaned down with my hands on my face looking into the mirror. About 5-7 seconds later, I was staring into the face of a monster-like being. It looked like kind of humanish, but with a lion type of face. It just stared back at me and I started screaming and called for my sister. I couldn't go near the mirror. That was 27 years ago. I refuse to go near that mirror to this day. There is no way. It's still on my mother's dresser, but I will not go anywhere near it.
