An Angel
Watching
by Daniela
This happened to me when I was 12 years old, and although it seems a long time ago (since I am now 16). I was at the school nurses' office and I had called my mom to come pick me up because I had the WORST migraine headache in the world. I got home and took two pills, went to my room and lay down. I began to cry because I just couldn't stand the pain, and so not really realizing I just began to say, "God, please help me! Let this go away. I cant stand the pain!!"
I guess I fell asleep crying because I all of a sudden woke up feeling someone stroking my hair gently as if to say, "You're going to be okay." I realized it was night already because it was pitch black in my room. So I looked up slowly, thinking it was my older sister, but I couldn't quite see her face clearly because I had slept for a really long time. So then she gets up, stands in front of me and by this time I'm fully awake realizing its not my sister. This young woman had long, black, silky hair with a red, sleeveless shirt and some white pants.
As she stood there, she just calmly looked at me directly and then turned forward and began to walk away. She took a few steps before she disappeared! What sort of scared me was the fact that a have a small table next to the bed with a large alarm clock and a she began to walk away I distinctly saw her go through the alarm clock, like the ghosts do in the movies. I never really saw her again, but I have to admit I did get scared and got up from my room to go tell my mom what happened. Yes, it could have a hallucination from being sick earlier, but I don't think so because when I woke up, I felt completely fine as if nothing had happened and I had just taken a little nap. When I told my sister, she says it could've been an angel, but every one will have there own opinions on my story. I just know what I saw and I saw a woman disappear. I rather want to believe that it is in fact my guardian angel watching over, but it could have been anything.
