Ghost at the Pool

It was a sunny day in the small town of Avila, Spain, and my mum decided to go swimming with her friends in the local pool. On her way, she bumped into an old family friend, who she hadn't seen for a long time. The friend was a woman in her 60s, with short, black, wavy hair wearing a long white dress. My mum thought nothing unusual of this and greeted her friendly. She asked the woman how she was and what she'd been up to. The woman answered by saying she was very well, and had just been taking time to rest after a operation on her hip. My mum eventually left to go to the swimming pool.

After spending the day at the pool, she came back home, and mentioned to her mother who she'd seen. Her mother looked at her like she was crazy, and said "You can't have seen Maria [the woman's name]. She died a few weeks ago..."
