The Crying Ghost

My mom and Robert (my step-father) got married. Robert lived in this nice little trailer about a town next to us. So a lot of the time, while my mom and he were dating, they would always take me and Brandon (my now step-brother) lots of places in town and would leave for hours, late in the evening. And we made sure to turn EVERYTHING off be4 we left. So, every time we would come back, probably around 9-10 p.m., the TV and/or radio would be on – and that happened A LOT. We would be like, "Oh, maybe we just left the timer on so the TV would come on or off." So we turned off the timer to the television and MADE SURE it was off. But somehow, every time no one was home, they would be on again. It never really bothered us; we would always just joke around about it saying, "Oh! haha... we must have a ghost -wink wink-"

We soon figured out that there really was a ghost in the house. And she didn't do any harm to anything. I guess she was just bored and lonely and did what she wanted. But one night I think she got a little upset. We had gotten a new puppy that day and it was sleeping in the kitchen. We were all watching TV. We heard this loud noise, like someone threw something at the oven. We looked and the dog was huddled against the stove growling, just looking at nothing.

And the one night we finally realized there WAS a ghost... my mom spent the night at my step-dad's while I was at my friend's house. My mother told me she woke up in the middle of the night for no reason, and when she looked over at the door... a lady in white, with a vail over the hair, walked into the bedroom, went over to the end of the bed where my mom told me she felt her touch her foot as she walked by, and went to my step-father's side of the bed. She said the lady knelt down and watched Robert and it looked like the lady was crying. My mom knew the ghost wouldn't hurt her so she just went back to sleep.
