Summer House Shadow People

Two summers ago in August 2005, my family and I went to Harper's Island, North Carolina. We stayed in a small house in a nice area, but as we arrived at the house, I got a creepy feeling. The house on the inside was nice and bright except for one small bedroom. This room was very dark and uninviting. It only had one small window. My brother and I both didn't want to sleep in there, so we shared a room. I slept on the top bunk in the room while he slept in the regular bed.
One morning, I woke up early. The sun was just coming up. There was a mirror on the wall in front of the beds, and I just looked over there, and to my surprise and fear I saw a shadow-man standing in the mirror. He was wearing a hat of some kind, and it looked sort of old-fashioned. I looked at the floor down below me to see if it was my dad or brother, but no one was there. I curled up and tried to sleep.
The second experience I had there freaked me out more. We had gotten back from the beach, and I was in the shower. Like most shower curtains, the curtain didn't shut all the way. There was a small space where I could see through into the bathroom. I looked through the space when all of the sudden, a huge black shadow swept through the bathroom. I was so scared and got out quickly.
