Shadow Man and Dog

My name is Kristyn and I would like to share an encounter I had when I was four years old and again at 19.
The first time was in the year 1991. This was so long ago that I do not remember the month. This encounter happen in Grand Rapids, Michigan. For some reason, I always felt uneasy in my bedroom, and one night was especially bad. I decided to go into my parents' room to sleep. I was sitting up in bed because I could not sleep. It was then that I saw a shadow person and dog enter into the room through the wall. The shadow person did not have any distinct features. The shadow person walked around the room looking at various objects. The shadow dog put its paws up on the bed next to my mom. The shadow person then beckoned the dog to its side and they exited into the hallway.
I didn't feel any fear when I saw the shadow person and dog. I never saw them in my own bedroom. I am not in that room anymore, but I still think there was something bad in there. When I first moved into my sister's old room, I think I saw the shadow person again. This was a very brief encounter. I saw the shadow person standing next to my bed as I was waking up. I have found it odd that I have seen this shadow person in my new room and my parents' room, but not my old room.
I always thought of this shadow person as some kind of guardian. When I saw it briefly in my new room, it felt like it was just letting me know it was still there. I have the feeling that it just couldn't enter my old room for some reason.
