Vision of
Blood
by Anonymous
My attitude changed when I was 13 and living with my grandmother in and old house she bought at an auction. Everything was cool, and by this time I was a complete skeptic. One night, when I was walking up to the upstairs bathroom for a bath, I heard a loud scream coming from the bathroom. I got scared and ran into the bathroom thinking someone got hurt. When I entered the bathroom, the screaming got louder and louder, and it sounded like it was coming from the bathtub. I looked over into the tub and noticed that the water was a dark red, almost like blood mixed in with the water.
I ran out of the bathroom and yelled at my brothers, thinking it was a prank. They had no idea what I was talking about and went upstairs with me to see the water. When we got into the bathroom, my brothers looked at me like I was crazy because the bath water was clear. I was embarrassed, and determined that my mind was playing games with me.
A couple days later, I went to run the bath again, and this time when I turned on the water, it came out in the same shade of red as it had been before. Terrified, I insisted that my grandmother find out about the history of the house. It turned out that the bathroom was actually a crime scene in the past. What had happened was that a girl, who was around the age of 18, was beaten and cut almost to the point of death, then drowned in the bathtub. When the police found her, the water was a blood red, and they had to get an autopsy report to determine that she had drowned. If she wouldn't have drowned, she would've bled to death. The killers were never found, and the only reason the police were called was because the neighbors heard her screaming. Needless to say, I moved back to my mother's home and never went back to that house again. After that experience, I have become a true believer in paranormal activity.
