Menacing Old Hag

I have had the old hag experience, although not quite like the others. I was "awakened" from sleep to find my bedroom freezing cold and a woman in white flowing robes at the end of my bed. I questioned her presence there and she became the hag. Her features became old and haggard, and her "tone" became menacing. I was in a paralyzed state, but I warned her (telepathically?) that she was not welcome and to stay away from me and my children. (I only really had one child at the time and had no plans for more.) She left and the coldness left with her. Many years later in our new home, I lay down with my son in his bedroom. He said he was scared in his room. I dozed off. I again woke up to hear heavy footsteps coming down the hall and an angry presence heading for my son's room. I did not have the nerve to open my eyes (but I felt I could), and the certainly male presence stood over the bed for a minute or two. It was breathing hard - very quickly, very deeply. Again I thought a firm "No! Go away and don't come back!" He turned and left. I was able to move again and grabbed my son and put him in bed with me. He doesn't sleep in there anymore, and neither do I. I'm not sure if this qualifies as paranormal or just bad dreams, but it was definitely frightening.
