Brother's Picture

I'm 24 years old and I live with my girlfriend in an apartment. We've been living there a couple of months. My girlfriend had an experience when she was approximately 19 years old, she never thought it would have come back to her haunt her at this time in her life. Her 18 year old brother was driving one night and got in a head-on collision with a drunk driver. He died instantly, and when they arrived at the scene of the accident, his body was barely recognizable. She and her brother were very close and it took her a long time to get over the loss. 

About a month ago, we were about to go to bed. Suddenly, the window, which was across the room from us, broke from the inside as if something was thrown at it from the inside of our room. We figured that there was an obvious explanation for this and we got the window fixed and pretty much forgot the whole incident. Two nights later, my girlfriend had a dream showing her brother going through the windshield of his car. She woke up in disbelief and woke me up as well and told me about the dream. The first thing that came to my mind was our window breaking the other night. When we woke up the next morning, my girlfriend walked into the living room and remembered the dream. She walked over to the mantle where we keep our pictures and wanted to look at her brothers picture. It was missing! She was shocked and she ran into the room to tell me about the missing picture. When she ran into the room, she looked at her bedside table and the picture was sitting facing the window that had been broken. Neither of us had any memory of moving the picture, and no one had been in the apartment to move it.
