Chupacabras
in New Jersey?

Two years ago, my friend saw a little animal moving in the weeds at a golf course in in Brigantine N.J. He yelled at it and it stood straight up. It was abut three feet tall with spikes on its back. Then, on Friday, November 22, the drummer in our band was riding his bike home on the golf course and he hissed at something he thought was a cat. Then it stood up and he told us what it looked like. My friend Blake and I went to the golf course to see what it was, but we didn't find anything. We went the next day with our friend Rich and we heard it swimming in the water, but as soon as we put our light on it, it went under the water. We didn't see it again for about one and a half hours.
Then on our way home, Rich was flashing his light around and he caught two big red eyes. The we got two lights on it for like 10 seconds, but our camera's batteries went out. But what we did see was crouched, then stood up and ran. We found the footprints in the sand traps on the golf course. We know it wasn't a fox because we looked up all of the possibilities of what it could be and none had the description of this one. It had two big sharp claws in the front and a very small palm. Then we didn't see it anymore. We are going again on Wednesday, November 27 and are staying all night.
