Dream or Something
More?

My story is about a dream. "Just a dream?" some of you might ask. Yes, it was "just a dream," but it was a very special dream to me. I can't find the right words to explain why, so I will just describe it to you and let you dwell on it or brush it aside, whichever you prefer.
It happened a few years ago, long before I became interested in life after death, reincarnation and all that "nonsense." I must have been about 17. The dream was this: I came to "a place." The funny thing about this "place" was that it was like no other place on Earth. There were no trees, no buildings, no cars, nothing really. It seemed like air, but there was no air either. I had a feeling it was "high in the sky," although there was no sky. And there were no colors. Only white. So I come to this white "place" and there are some beings there. (I'd say there were about 20.) These beings have no bodies, as you might have guessed by now. They look like concentrated energies, but I know they're beings because they're waiting to greet me. I can feel their anticipation, as well as mine. I can also feel joy and peace, both theirs and mine. I move toward them (by the way, I don't recall having a body in these dreams) and I am overwhelmed by the JOY and the PEACE.
At this point I am aware that I am "dreaming," only in dreams I don't call it dreaming. I think: "This kind of joy cannot be experienced on Earth. This feeling is so much different, so much more intense and powerful." One of these beings is "standing" in front of the others. We hug. With no arms since we have no bodies. But I know we do. And I can still feel this JOY. It's everywhere. And the weirdest thing of all is that we're laughing. I can feel and hear our laughter. Let me tell you, I have never in my life experienced such joy.
I start thinking to myself: "This is my real home, my home on Earth is only my temporary home. And these are my best friends."
