Ghost on the Window

I always considered myself to be an even-keeled, down to earth individual. I either didn't believe or didn't have any real interest in the unexplained. Up until this point, there had been no prior occurrences for the four years that I lived in my parent's apartment during college. Then in september 2000 it started.

Small at first, we only heard scratching behind the walls and the occasional lights that were off are now on thing. But they quickly got worse. One night I came home late from a party (wasn't drinking), and I noticed a blur on the balcony window. As I approached, the blur became clearer. It was very clearly the imprint of a screaming man! It was so clear you could even see his eyelashes. I tried to wipe it on both sides of the window, then realized that the face was inside the glass! Needless to say, I didn't sleep well that night. And despite numerous attempts, we could not remove the face. The window had to be replaced.

My mother was home alone one night, getting a glass of water from the kitchen when there was a knock on the door. She placed the glass on the LEFT side of the sink and went to the door. When she came back, the glass was on the RIGHT side of the sink and the water was shaking like the glass had just been moved!

There were other things: One night While sitting on the floor talking on the phone, I was lashed across leg by a television cable that was sitting on my bed. My brother saw a bright green light in the bathroom one night when the lights went out. But the most disturbing incident occurred late one night when I woke from a deep sleep, sweating and terrified. My head was beneath my covers, and I had an overwhelming feeling that I was being watched, that something was right on the other side of the blanket staring at me.

After maybe five minutes, I worked up the courage to reach from under the covers and grab the T V remote and turn it on. I peered out from beneath my covers and saw that my door was opened. I ALWAYS sleep with my door closed. I asked my family if they had been in my room and they all said no. I was 22 when this happened so I was of sound mind. And I also know that these events are as real as anything I have ever encountered. Since then, I have become a believer. And I REFUSE to sleep in that room again.
