Twin Injury

I am the mother of twin 15-year olds, a boy and a girl. I have heard many things about twins and find it interesting. I could go into a long, drawn out story, but I really just want to tell people that there is more to life and to you than meets the eye.
The twins were born premature and endured many painful, though necessary procedures. They remained "hospitalized" until they were full gestational age, approximately four months. It was not long after bringing them home that this incident occurred. I had both babies with me on the living room couch. Something distracted my attention away from them for a short second, at which point my daughter fell to the floor bumping her head... I witnessed the fall, but was too late to react.
After picking the baby up and checking her forehead for injury, I determined she was fine, no marks of any kind. At that point, the other baby started to cry. When I turned around, I found the source of his distress, for on his forehead was a huge lump, such as you would get from bumping one's head on the floor. I was dumbfounded, and to this day, I can think of no explanation for this occurrence.
