Flying White Orbs
by Jesse S.

When I was rather young, I had just been sent to bed and was lying on my bottom bunk still very much awake. Suddenly, I saw two white orbs against my wall. My door was shut and as I watched them as they began flying about very rapidly. I was scared as hell and started thinking that maybe it was someone outside my window with flashlights looking in; as scary as that would be, I was hoping it was the case. So I looked at my blinds which were totally closed, but there was no light shinning on them. I was very terrified and just lay there as still as possible. They kept moving around my room. They seemed to stay very close to the wall and would disappear to where I couldn't see them, only to reappear moments later. I just continued to lay there, but then suddenly they started coming out into the middle of the room and closer to me. At that point, I freaked out and jumped up and ran out into my living room. When I returned, they were gone. Then, not too long after that, I was returning home from going out to dinner when, as I was approaching my gate, I looked up and saw one on the side of my house. It flew up along the top and over the roof. Now I'm a very analytical person and I was even then. I couldn't determine any factors that could have caused me to see them apart from possible psychotic type hallucinations, which I doubt is the case. There were no lights around in either case to burn my eyes and I wasn't dreaming. Even as a kid, I could easily tell the difference from my dreams and reality, and rarely had nightmares.
