The Circle of Light

Me and two of my friends were going to go to a town about 50 or so miles away from my home town. That was where we got most of our video games. I was about 16 and played games a lot. The only store in the area was a Wal-Mart. We would go to the other town to get our games at the software store in the mall. I went to my friend's house and picked them both up. At the second stop, we noticed a white glowing circle in the night sky. It was a cloudy night. It looked as though some type of light was being flashed into the clouds. The light was going around in circles. I thought it had to be some type of airport light. We got into the car and headed out. We noticed that the circle of light seemed to stay above the car. But still we dismissed it as our imaginations. We arrived at the store and looked up to see that the light was still there. I'm sure anyone could have seen it. It wasn't a bright light. More like a weak flashlight. You couldn't see a trail of light though. The way you do when there's fog. We went inside and bought our game. When we came out, The light was still there. We were then freaking out. Something was wrong. We got into the car and drove home, and watched the light the whole time. We all came to my house and decided to go inside. We never went back out to check and see if the light would still be there. If the circle had just been over my friend's house when we first saw it, we wouldn't have thought about it again. The problem was, this light was able to follow us the entire time we were on the road. It waited for us to get our game, and then followed us home. We were all freaked and scared. We never saw that again.
