Psychic Sibling
by Wayne I.

Last Tuesday morning, my wife awoke and described a dream she had. She was leaning over a coffin with one of her brothers in it, but she could not make out which one. She touched his face and said, "I love you!" Wednesday morning, she awoke with a different story: her mother (deceased) was in our kitchen looking at her brother lying on our table. Her mother looked at her and smiled. Thursday morning. The story gets more details. Her mother and brother, now recognized as her oldest brother, Robert, were lying on the table. My wife enters the room and asks her mother, "Why are ya'll so white?" Her mother replies, "Because we're dead!"

Friday morning brought the same dream, only with a few more "details." This time her brother's face was showing some sort of damage, and a large white object was appearing in the background. She just could not put it all together.

Saturday morning it all started coming together. Around 2 a.m., I was awaken suddenly, like being startled from a nightmare, a very sad terrible feeling. Something was very wrong. I couldn't return to sleep. Was I sick, having some sort of attack? No, I just could not sleep any more. Saturday afternoon, the story concludes. We came in after going out to eat. My wife felt ill all day, and she was coming home to go to bed early. She walked in the door, looked at the answering machine flashing, looked at me and said, "it's Robert." I pressed the message button. Robert was run down in Phoenix, Arizona by a hit-and-run driver. He was kept alive ,on life support until 11:59 a.m. Saturday, while attempts were made to find his family. Robert sent his last requests two weeks earlier, with the remarks, "Just in case." So it all came together, right down to the last detail! The large white object in the background? Robert was killed by a white van! Now you tell me! How strong is a sibling relationship?
