Haunted Cemetery

While my husband and I were dating, we went necking in an old cemetery that we found. We were driving around looking for an isolated spot when we saw a dirt road almost covered with weeds. We turned down this road only to find ourselves in front of these two brick pillars with iron gates swung open. We could just make out enough letters on the old sign to realize where we were, an old cemetery. Ordinarily, we would not even think of making out in such a place, but seeing as how my boyfriend (who is now my husband for 11 years) was home on a three-day pass from the Navy, we didn't have a lot of time to be choosy.

We pulled through the gates and parked the car a good ways up driveway and we were able to see some of the headstones from where we parked. It was getting pretty hot in the car by now as we had not seen one another in about six months. All of a sudden, we heard the strangest noise. It was the sound of drums, not the kind of drums you hear in a band, but more like ceremonial drums. Next thing we know, the wind is really starting to blow hard. Leaves are all over the car so bad, we could hardly see out to see what was going on. Through the moonlight falling through the trees surrounding the cemetery, we could make out shapes of what looked to be people running from tree to tree.

It seemed like we had been there forever, but only a few minutes had passed. Needless to say, we were freaking out by now and ready to get out of there. My husband tried to start the car while I start locking the car doors. I say try because the car would not start. Also, the lights would not come on. All of a sudden, the car started moving like someone was shaking it back and forth. The drums were getting louder and the beats closer together. The wind started blowing even harder than before and we were both screaming and trying to start the car when the car finally started. We got the hell out of there. Several years later, we drove back to that area (in daylight, of course) to see if we could find this place and we were not able to do so.
