Old Hag's Sour Breath
by KitKat

After reading countless stories of other's experiences with "hags," I've decided to share my hag story.

My bed is a queen four-poster with a large white mosquito net that is lowered over my bed each night before I go to sleep. My sleeping position is on my stomach, so naturally I was on my stomach this particular night. As I lay on my stomach drifting between being asleep and half asleep, I was suddenly aware of a presence in my room. It felt as though it was in the corner of my room, watching and waiting. I dared not move for I thought that perhaps if I did not move it would leave. I was wrong.

All of a sudden, I became aware of a sour smell. By now I was terrified. I was filled with a sense of helplesness and I could sense it moving closer and closer as I tried to move, scream, anything. It felt as if I was tied down. I felt something jump on my back! It couldn't have been too big though. I heard a high-pitched scream and the little statue of Our Lady I have by my bed clattered down on to the floor and broke. Everything was silent and I was able to move again.

I flipped over on to my back and was taken aback. Not only was my mosquito net lifted, but there was a tear in it 6" long. I later removed that net and burned it for the fear of it attracting the "hag" back again and I splashed the whole room with holy water. It was truly the worst experience I have ever come across in my life. Hags are awful, truly the worst thing you can encounter. I would not bestow one's presence on even my worst enemy.
