Ghost Taker
by Cathy

This was back in 1985 at my home in Georgia. We moved into a house, and right from the start things were weird. I would set something down (like cigarettes or a drink), turn around and they would be gone. I would look all over the house then go back... and they would be in the same place. I thought I was getting alzheimer's and worried for months without telling my husband.

Then one night I was in the hall doing laundry and looked into the living room to see what I thought was my daughter standing watching the TV. The light was out except for a small light in the kitchen and the TV. All the way up the hall I could see her standing there. I walked into the living room and rounded the l-shaped couch where she was leaning and came face to face with a little girl I had never seen before. She looked startled at me. Being in a rural area, I started to ask her who she was... and she just faded back into the wall. I realized this was a ghost. I was so relieved that I didn't have alzheimer's. I lived in this house for the next 18 years and came to realize that there were two ghost there.
